How to Install Veritas eDiscovery Platform Capacity Suite

Preparing for installation begins with a clear plan that aligns with your existing infrastructure, security policies, and data governance requirements. Start by assembling your implementation team, including IT, security, legal, and records management leads. Review hardware and software prerequisites and map out your deployment topology to optimize performance and resilience.

  • Step 1 — Assess and Plan: Define data sources, custodians, and expected data volumes. Establish performance targets, storage requirements, and backup/DR strategies. Confirm network bandwidth, server capacity, and high-availability options to match the 1 TB processing scope.
  • Step 2 — Prepare the Environment: Validate operating system versions, database prerequisites, and required third-party components. Prepare secure network segments, firewall rules, and access controls that align with your organization’s security policies.
  • Step 3 — Install Core Platform Components: Deploy the Veritas eDiscovery Platform components in accordance with the official deployment guide. This typically includes processing services, indexing/search components, and repository integration, all configured to your topology.
  • Step 4 — Apply Licensing and Configure CLP: Activate the 3-year CLP license key, assign the Unlimited Collection User entitlement, and verify that the 1 TB Processing allocation is recognized by the system.
  • Step 5 — Connect Data Sources and Ingest Data: Add data sources (emails, documents, files, databases) and establish ingestion pipelines. Implement data normalization, deduplication rules, and metadata mapping to optimize searchability.
  • Step 6 — Define Security and Access: Create user roles, access controls, and authentication methods. Enforce least-privilege policies and enable audit logging to support compliance requirements.
  • Step 7 — Configure Discovery Workflows: Build search templates, saved queries, holds, exports, and notification rules. Establish standard operating procedures for collections, exports, and review workflows.
  • Step 8 — Validation and Testing: Run benchmark searches, test processing performance against the 1 TB allocation, and validate results for accuracy and completeness. Verify that essential timelines and SLAs can be met.
  • Step 9 — Monitoring and Maintenance: Set up monitoring dashboards, alerting for system health, and scheduled maintenance windows. Plan for backups, DR testing, and periodic license reviews.
  • Step 10 — Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide role-based training for end users, reviewers, and administrators. Prepare runbooks and documentation to accelerate adoption and reduce support requests.

After installation, conduct a phased rollout, starting with a pilot project to validate performance, reliability, and user adoption. Monitor key metrics such as ingest throughput, indexing latency, search response times, and export turnaround. With the 3-year license and CLP support, you’ll maintain access to updates and guidance that help your team stay aligned with evolving data governance standards and legal requirements.

Works but will Dry Out Your Skin
Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am a swim instructor at an outdoor pool and this stuff DOES work. I can apply it at the beginning of a 5 hour shift and while I have experienced light tanning it has protected against burning completely without reapplication. The white cast is significant though I don't mind it aesthetically, I know its there for protection . It does rub off on things though so consider yourself warned. Major Con: it is incredibly drying, and the soap needed to scrub it off is A LOT. That coupled with chlorine is a lot for my skin . Still on my sunscreen journey.

I couldn’t put this book down!!
Format: Paperback
I couldn’t put this book down! My daughter & I stayed in a bed-n- breakfast in Lochcarran on our trip to Scotland right before the COVID pandemic. Not only is the story a fun cozy, whodunnit, but I could visualize the geography while reading. I love the Scottish Highlands & Dee describes them perfectly in this book. Can’t wait to read the next book..it should arrive today!!

Good book
Format: Audiobook
Book was interesting but had a hard time with the Scottish accent. Plus I have hearing problems so that may have been part of the issue too.

Pronunciation matters, and I can't finish this book.
Format: Audiobook
I listen almost exclusively to books set in Scotland & Ireland, so I'm very familiar with the accents and find them incredibly charming. That said, the name pronunciation really irritated me. The main character is Ally, but they are not pronouncing it to rhyme with Sally. It sounds more like they are separating it into two words- All E. After investing hours into the audiobook and trying to not let it bother me, they introduce an American character, Mamie, which should rhyme with "maybe", but NO- they call her Mommy! It is very confusing- I kept thinking a new character was introduced who was a parent. Nope. I give up. I don't think I can finish listening to this. I feel like I'm being pranked.
